Cushion, Curtain and Blinds Weekender

Are you struggling to find the perfect soft furnishings for your home? Would you love to be able to update your home with beautifully handmade cushions, curtains and Blinds? Then this weekender is just what you need…

During this weekend course we will cover 3 projects:

• How to make a cushion cover with a zip and piping
• How to make a fully lined curtain sample
• How to make a lined roman blind sample

We will cover how to measure your windows accurately for great fitting curtains and blinds. What type of fabrics you can use, how much you will need, and much more.

You will be able to take your projects home with you and have your very own samples to refer to when putting your new skills into practice at home.

You will need to be able to use a sewing machine to attend this course. If you need to learn to use a machine, you could attend our Absolute Beginners Class first.

All fabrics and materials will be provided, if you wish to bring your own then that’s fine too. You will receive an email with more detail once you have booked your place.

You will have use of all the equipment in the Sewing Room and hot and cold refreshments are included too.
