Stretch Dressmaking Course (4 Day Course)

Do you struggle to sew with stretch or just prefer to wear clothing made with stretch fabric? Then join us on this Stretch Dressmaking Course and learn to sew your staple wardrobe pieces using stretch fabric and an overlocker.
We will work through 3 projects, a Billie sweater from Tillie and the Buttons, the gorgeous Georgie Dress from Sew Over It, and everyones favourite – a pair of leggings. You will learn some core dress making skills including: seams and seam finishes, hems, gathers, set-in sleeves, neck bands, cuffs and much more! You will pick up lots of hints and tips along the way so you can sew at home with confidence.
You will need basic sewing skills and know how to use a sewing machine. Patterns and use of all equipment is included, you will just need to bring your own fabric. Once you’ve booked your place you will receive and email with all the details you need.
This course will run over 4 Saturdays – 10am – 4pm each day
