So you’ve attended the Absolute Beginners Class or you’ve had a go on a sewing machine – so what’s next?
Would you love to make your own clothes that fit you well, in a fabric you love, but don’t know where to start?
Make Your First Garment is the perfect place to start. In this class you can make either PJ bottoms, an Easy Wrap Skirt or an Easy Top – you choose! All of these projects are perfect for starting your clothes making adventure.
In this class I will show you….
- How to measure yourself accurately
- How to choose the right size for you
- How to use a dressmaking pattern
- How to adjust your pattern for a better fit
- How to cut your fabric
- Creating seams and hems
- Core dressmaking skills
- and much much more!
You will need to be able to use a sewing machine, if you need to learn then you could sign up for the Absolute Beginners class first.
The sewing pattern is included and will be yours to keep!
Use of all equipment and as much tea and coffee as you can drink are all included.
You will just need to provide your own fabric. More details will follow once you have booked your place.
